Pricing

How pricing works

This page explains the model. It does not list figures — those depend on your estate and how you deploy, and we'd rather give you a real number in a conversation than an anchor on a web page.

The model

Pay for what you use, not for features you're locked out of

Every standard feature is open to you. What you pay follows the size of your estate and how much you use it.

A monthly minimum

One entry point, the same through every partner MSP. It covers getting your estate onto SurroundNet and keeping it there.

Per endpoint, all standard features

Beyond the minimum you pay per endpoint, and that covers all standard features up to usage thresholds. We charge for use, not by switching features off.

Billed in arrears

You are billed monthly for what you used. There are no credits to buy up front and nothing to tally or disburse.

Nothing new billed without your say

New and advanced features are introduced with usage thresholds. Nothing beyond your plan is billed until you opt in.

Tokenized features

See what each feature is worth, and what you actually use

Each capability has a value, and its use is measured in tokens. Your statement shows the usage and the value, asset by asset.

A value for every capability

Capabilities are catalogued as processes and steps — incident, change, problem, service request, asset, project and more, using ITIL 4 names. Each step has a token value; some base features carry none at all.

Only completed work counts

A token is recorded when a step is completed — a ticket resolved, a change approved, a procedure run — never for clicks or page views. Machine work such as monitoring and discovery is counted in blocks.

A statement you can read

Your usage statement shows what was used, what it was worth and which assets it was for — the same transparency a partner MSP gives its customers on their bills.

Services sized to you

No tiers, but services sized to what's in scope

There are no tiers to climb. There are categories of customers and MSPs, by industry and by size — and the services that span your whole ecosystem are sized to match.

Sized to the scope

A penetration test, an assessment or a migration is sized to the assets, users and sites in scope. A pen test for a restaurant is not priced like one for an enterprise.

A standard for each size

Each of these services has a standard for each size of organisation, so you know what is included before the work starts.

Anything unusual, agreed up front

If your estate or your request doesn't fit the standard, we agree the scope and the price with you before any work begins.

Grows with you

Pricing that follows your organisation's maturity

As you implement more and your teams use more, your usage and your capability rise together. The Digital Maturity Index measures that from your own records.

The Digital Maturity Index

Each capability is rated on the familiar CMMI levels — Initial, Managed, Defined, Quantitatively Managed, Optimizing — from evidence in your records, and rolled up into one index. You see where you are and the next step for each capability.

Increments, not every option at once

Implementation follows an agreed roadmap: align, implement, assess, iterate. You pay for what you've adopted, and the business review shows what the next increment would bring.

A free start

You can begin without paying up front. Charges for your usage phase in gradually over your first months, so you see the value before you pay the full rate. Ask us for the current terms.

For MSPs

For partners: your practice, your fleet, your services

Partners resell SurroundNet to their customers and deliver their own professional services through it.

Your industry, your practice

Partners apply in their industry and set up their practice in SurroundNet, starting from the vertical pack for that industry.

Professional services through SurroundNet

Professional services can be delivered through SurroundNet — talk to us. Your customers see the work behind every invoice.

Referrals

Your own referral link brings customers straight into your fleet.

Tokens stay in the fleet

An MSP's tokens can only be used by its own fleet — the customers it looks after. They don't transfer outside it, to another MSP or to anyone else.

Hosted, dedicated, on-premises and air-gapped deployments are all available; pricing for each is set with you.

Talk to us for figures

Tell us your estate and how you'd like to deploy, and we'll give you real numbers.
